Under 5 seconds to capture — camera, upload, or forwarded email.
Every receipt and invoice — instantly searchable.
Reports auto-generate. CSV or polished PDF.
The reality
Your receipts are in five places.
None of them are useful in April.
The phone camera roll has Tuesday's lunch. Personal email has the Amazon invoice. The vendor inbox has the SaaS bill. Glove box has the parking stub. Somewhere in there is a $340 hotel charge that may or may not be deductible at 50%. You have meant to sort it for six months. Tax season is going to find every gap.
How it works
From shoebox to sortable in three steps.
Capture
Snap, upload, or forward.
Snap a receipt with your phone, upload a PDF, or forward an email. Works for paper receipts, vendor invoices, airline confirmations, anything.
AI parses
Vendor, date, amount — extracted.
Vendor, date, amount, currency, location, line items — extracted in seconds. Auto-categorized. Flagged for tax deductibility.
Search · Report · Submit
Search anything. Reports auto-generate.
Find any receipt or invoice by vendor, client, amount, or date. CSV and PDF reports auto-generate. Mark items as expensed in bulk to reconcile against billings or reimbursements.
Capture however the receipt shows up.
Scan it.
Open SnapMyReceipts on your phone, point the camera, done. Works offline — receipts queue up and sync when you are back online.
Upload it.
Drop a PDF, JPG, or screenshot. Useful for emailed invoices, Amazon orders, or anything you already have on your laptop.
Forward it.
Every account gets a personal forwarding address. Pick your own prefix. AI tells receipts and invoices apart automatically.
Read once. Find anytime.
Stop typing what the receipt already says.
The model reads every receipt and invoice and pulls out the vendor, date, amount, currency, location, and line items. Foreign currencies are preserved as-is and converted to USD for reporting.
Every word the AI extracted is searchable. Find anything by vendor, client, amount, date range — or even line items pulled from inside the receipt.

Tax-ready by default
Each receipt comes pre-classified for taxes.
A tax classifier runs on every receipt: whether it's an IRS Schedule C deduction, the percentage that is deductible, and which Schedule C line it belongs on. Your CPA gets a head start; you get a smaller bill.

Lodging during a business trip is fully deductible.
From the actual receipt detail page — no manual classification needed.
Toggle off in Settings → Tax if your CPA prefers to classify everything themselves. Year-end CSV export includes the deductibility columns.
Reports
Reports auto-generate.
Reconciliation built in.
A custom CSV (you pick the columns and labels) or a polished PDF — both auto-generated from your receipts and invoices. Mark items as expensed in bulk to reconcile against client billings or reimbursements. Nothing slips through.

“I billed five clients last quarter. Half my receipts are on my phone, half are in my email.”
Tag each receipt to the right client. Export a per-client expense report when invoicing. Done in fifteen minutes a month.
Small business owner
“I am the founder, the buyer, and the bookkeeper. I do not have time for Expensify.”
Snap receipts as they happen. Forward vendor invoices. Hand your accountant a clean PDF in January, not a shoebox in April.
Fractional executive

I bill multiple clients. Can I track expenses per client?
Yes. Tag any receipt or invoice to a client in one tap. See per-client totals, and export a clean CSV or PDF for any single client when you bill them.
How does the tax deduction detection actually work?
Each scanned receipt is classified against IRS Schedule C categories. You see whether it is deductible, the deductible percentage (50% for most business meals, 100% for software, etc.), and the Schedule C line. You can turn the feature off in settings if your CPA prefers to classify everything themselves.
Can I forward receipts from email?
Yes. Every account gets a personal forwarding address — yourname@snapmyreceipts.com (you pick the prefix). Forward any receipt email there. AI auto-detects whether it is a receipt or an invoice and extracts the data.
I am switching from Expensify, FreshBooks, Wave, or QuickBooks Self-Employed. Will my history come over?
Yes. Export their CSV, upload it under Settings then Import. SnapMyReceipts auto-detects the format and imports your history. Most users are migrated in under an hour.
Can my accountant or bookkeeper access my receipts?
Yes — invite them as a delegate. Read-only access. They can view receipts, generate CSV and PDF reports, and download exports. They cannot change billing or settings. No password sharing.
What kind of reports can I generate?
A custom CSV (you pick which columns, in which order, and the column labels) or a PDF expense report (cover page, totals broken down by currency, expense table, one page per receipt with the image embedded). Reports are saved and re-downloadable.
Does it handle multiple currencies?
Yes. Receipts are stored in their original currency. Reports include per-currency subtotals, and amounts are converted to USD where needed for tax purposes.
Can I mark a receipt as already expensed or reimbursed?
Yes — one tap on any receipt. You can also bulk-mark items from the activity page. Useful when you have already invoiced a client or processed reimbursement and do not want it showing up in the 'to do' pile.
Is my data safe? Do you train AI on it?
Encrypted at rest and in transit. Auth via Clerk (SOC 2 compliant). Payments via Stripe (PCI Level 1). Row-level security on every database query. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.
What happens after the trial?
